I started photographing my collection of miniature designer chairs in 2011.
I love chairs as a concept, and even more so that a single idea can lead to so many variations, including the miniature ones.
This is the portfolio of photographs I've taken of my miniatures around the world.
My work has 3 categories: chairs in cities, chairs in nature, and people holding chairs. (Asking strangers on the street to pose with a miniature chair has been a rewarding kind of experience.)
I continue to photograph today and am actively looking for the right place to publish or exhibit my work to date.

I managed to acquire a miniature plastic stool, that is a miniature of the thousands of miniature plastic chairs/stools used everywhere in Vietnam. It is emblematic and iconic and I can’t be more pleased to have it in my collection.
The old man of Storr visible in the background.
Loved Scotland to bits and can’t wait to return again and redo this hike – it was so foggy that I chickened out of doing the full 2-3 hour circuit and stuck to a very basic hike up to the old man itself. Which accidentally took me right up to the Old Man of Storr… and let me assure you, it’s every bit as imposing, surreal (and a bit terrifying) from up close as it is from down far.
